Hosted in an unconventional warehouse setting, The Mango Farm transformed an industrial space into something deeply personal. With soft carpets, scattered cushions, and a circular stage at its centre, the environment invited audiences to sit, lounge, and fully immerse themselves in the music. The lighting was warm and intentional creating a balance between calm and electric energy that allowed each performance to resonate on a deeper level.
This was not about spectacle. It was about presence. Every detail was designed to bring people closer — to the music, to the artists, and to each other. It reimagined what a live music experience could feel like when authenticity takes the lead.
At its core, The Mango Farm exists to spotlight a new wave of African artists shaping the Neo Soul and R&B landscape. Moments like the debut performance of Uzulumarvingae delivered alongside the Babble Hume band — captured the essence of what this platform stands for: raw talent, artistic bravery, and meaningful storytelling.

BAI Foundation played a key role in supporting The Mango Farm’s journey, providing both financial backing and developmental guidance as the team executed their first independent edition at New Centre. This milestone — celebrated as part of their one-year anniversary — marked a significant step in their evolution from a growing idea into a fully realised cultural experience.
Beyond funding, the partnership reflects BAI’s commitment to nurturing youth-led initiatives that are building culture from the ground up. Through mentorship and collaboration, projects like The Mango Farm are able to scale their vision, deepen their impact, and reach wider audiences.
